I'm in the Chi too. Been using Live since version 1 (best DAW out!). I'm producing and engineering at 35th studios (35th and Paulina). Actually getting ready to start teaching a class in Live if you're interested. Check us out at http://www.35thst.com/

i produce, but im also tryin to incorporate live into a live act, so i would be more intresented in just learning, better recording techniques, and performing live tricks, as far as pay goes i would not pay more than 20 bucks an hour, i dont know i guess it would depend on what you guys could offer as far as learning material.

Was just about to post this very same thread. I just signed up for the Chicago Users Group, or whatever its called, at that APC/Live/Monome seminar last week. Was anyone else there? Would love to meet some locals that use teh live. Always looking to collaborate since my "partner" is flaky and nothing gets done.
