Hey Willyum, the Event EZbus works pretty good with LIVE doesn't it? I use mine for LIVE and Cubase SX2. I don't record through it, I monitor through it and use it as a Remote Control Console. I record everything directly through my RME HDSP9652.
Cool to see somebody else using one.

The only pic I have of it is a bit blurry, I'm afraid, but here goes:
5 osc (from inaudible highs to very-lfo), 3 env, 5 mixers, AM/RM x2, 2 multimode filters, eq, audio->trigger converters, reverb, assignable joystick and Battleship-style pin-matrix, hehe. Note the sticky tack on the right to hold unused pins in place, best idea I ever had, that!
It sounds sooo over-the-top, I had it sounding like an old man singing a few days ago
Andreas - Still no pic of me - I will NOT let my face get involved in gear-porn
mbp 2.66, osx 10.6.8, 8GB ram.
