Your question may be missing some crucial information. What part of Ableton interfaces with iTunes? What exactly is iTunes anyway?

What ableton version are you using.
Ableton only support mp3s, aiff and wav.
All other file format will probably be ignored by the live browser.
hope it helps

dunno if live lite support mp3s
I know full version does
maybe it could be cause live doesn't handle your mp3 codecs.

Indeed, your version of Live Lite may not support compressed audio formats. What version is it exactly?

I guess he's using live lite 6
:P
Is live lite 6 support mp3s ?
If yes, try reencoding one of your mp3s with razorlame at some decent bitrate ( like 192 and up) and check if live's seeing it.

Sorry, I meant what Lite edition (M-Audio, Digidesign, etc). Different editions vary slightly in features, and some don't support compressed audio formats.

Yes, the M-Audio Live edition does not support MP3s. You should use WAV files instead.
