New track - I'm Sorry (for who you are)(Instrumental Mix)
4th song on the page. Would like to add vocals at a later date. Feedback is always appreciated. First time recording a slapped bass since I've started practicing.

I've got a bunch of complaints about that. Shows up fine on Safari. I'm gonna have to go white on black.
(its grey on black as of now)

Moody and Mental...Just How I Like
samz|sight,
I liked the track, but I have a question and some humble feedback for you.
Is it your intent to have the track ("I'm Sorry") sound so "filtered"? If that is the sound you were going for, then please ignore the following paragraphs.
It sounded like all of the low end is filtered out. Is that what you wanted? I mean, I was really expecting the song to really explode into this dramatic, warm, minimalist-type movement that just filled the space between my ears with sounds.
The piano intro is a great builder of anticipation along with the strings. But I really think I'm missing a lot because I can't make out the bass movements well at all unless I really focus on the bass only and mentally block out the other instruments.
The drums are cool. Again, opening up the low end would really add some "mood power" to the track. (Like you did on "Simple Science" - Awesome track, by the way.)
Of course, I write all of this based on what I think your song should sound like - based on what I was expecting to hear. I present my opinions here humbly and sincerely.
This track reminded me of the music I tend to make. I've been trying to figure out how to categorize what I make. I recently decided to just stick with "My Moody, Mental Music". I really enjoyed listening to your songs.
I would like to collab with you. Let me know.
All the best,
Taurus

hey thanks for the feedback. i can see what you mean on the bass. I'm still working on overall eq'ing and making sure sounds arent overlapping and getting muddy. Thats prolly why everything sounds really filtered. I cut too much sometimes
As for it exploding, i thought the same. Sometimes I get sucked into one idea.
I also had a chance to listen to a few of your songs. Everything is so tight. Awsome stuff.
