i have a render folder then run LAME
I've got an automator action running and it works, but this map action and starting apps keep interrupting and delaying my work in Live. I wouldn't mind paying for the option as add on like in Pro Tools. On the other hand, with Lame implemented this could be a nice cheap service and timesaver for a lot of us :!:

If i can't render my 2.4 gig set how am i supposed to get it to itunes?
How do mp3's help? You cant record straight to an mp3, you have to encode it from wav/aiff (afaik).
Which stilll leaves you with the same problem.

I still love and keep using Audiograbber. Good for ripping from CD, encoding, etc.

Wiretap lets me record straight to mp3... my workaround at the moment is to load up my set, hit record on wiretap, play on ableton and set a timer. However this is a realtime recording not a render. Also I don't think you're right about the need to convert from wav/aiff, Protools at least lets you bounce to mp3.

as I like to listen to my bounced files after creating something on my mp3 player, I would much appreciate direct mp3 bounce option! It would save time...
