Key Map half missing!

Why can't you use more keys in key map? It's not like I have to reserve the % key for something important!

And why don't the F keys work? (Except F11)

Actually they do F1 to F8 Activate/Deactivate tracks 1 to 8... Work like mute buttons...

F9 - global record toggle
F10 - back to arrangement button
F11 - full screen toggle
F12 - toggle between clip edit view, track view, bus view
shift F12 - unfold/fold clip edit view, track view, bus view

for using other keys (in the meantime until Ableton hopefully changes this) I have a midi program that i can assign keys to midi notes

then when mapping in Live i use MIDI map mode instead of KEYS mode

works well on the mac, cant advise for PC

Don't forget that you can use upper and lower case letters for separate assignments as well.
i.e. hold down shift/hit caps lock when you hit a letter...or not

I agree -there's loads more keys could be used - like the numbers?
