how to make screengrabs

hello,

does anyone know how to make a screengrab of live so that i can post if on the forum? what utility should i use? (on a mac)

i'm sure i've seen this answered on here before. i tried the search, but no luck.

Apple-shift-3

Or apple-shift-4 to select a part of the screen to capture.
