pentium m or mobile p4?

Hey guys.
I'm looking to get a new powerfull laptop to do lots of music (ableton) work off from when i'm far far away from my desktop.
The only question I need answered for when it comes to a laptop to anybody with experience... which is better? the pentium m or the mobile p4 processors?

Pentium M is far superior. Faster, less heat, more battery life. I didn't even know Intel manufactured the P 4 Mobile any more?

My friend said his room mate had a P4 in his laptop and it was so much better than the pentium m he's used before but I found it hard to believe..

definetly the pentium m. I have a P4m in my laptop and its a nightmare for overheating. plus it won't run for more than half an hour on batteries.

They look like the best cpu's available at the moment.

does Ableton work properly with those Intel duo's at the moment? Has anybody fully tested it with one?

Dual cpu will only be supported with Live 6. So yeah it works, but at only half the available power.
