emagic a62m power supply details

witch sweet abletoniac can tell me what kind of powersupply (volt, polarity, ...) i need for my a62m interface? for european use

a: you dont need one at all, since it is usb powered.

b: at least on my a2|6 (emi branded) it has the polarity and volage icon on the sticker at the bottom, which is:

5v, 500mA, pin = minus, shield=plus.

yes yes, i do now it's usb powered, smart-ass ;) but i want to save on bat-power when at home...
and there's a sticker at the bottom indeed :roll:

Always needed a power supply for this on PCs. Never needed on a Mac...

anyway here are the Spex:

Input: 110V AC 60Hz
Output: 5V DC
Current: 5000mA

little tip if you're going to use more than 1 usb device in the future : get a usb hub + powersupply , that way you have only 1 usb plug to put into your PC , and only 1 powersupply to power all your usb devices

get one of those multi purpose adapters with switchable volt settings , they should cover 5 volts

maxi, i'll be working in charleroi from monday on, if you want i can get one with 5v here at conrad electronics (probably around 10e) and bring that with me. i guess posting it in belgium shouldt be expensive.
