motu main out pot crackle

seems to be a common problem
the main out of motu828 crackling
how do you guys fix it? open it up and give it a contactspray-shower?

here's a great tip:
you can get little burnisher jacks - I have one, and it has sooo saved my ass on a number of occasions. Basically it has a very fine grain sanding surface, and it cleans the residue of the female connector (oo-er!) Works better than any contact liquid I've come across.

phone motu, for a small fee they will replace the unit, at least they did for me a few years back....dont know how the stock on 828's is anymore
