Hi guys!
I've encounterd following problem: when I try to use my preamp as an external device as a saturator, some strange noises occur. The preamp (GAP Pre MK III) itself works fine when I use it as an insert to track vocals or guitars. I use Focusrite Scarlett 4i4. I send audio from output 3 to my preamp, and I have it back via input 4.
I can't figure out what's going on - I downloaded latest drivers to my interface and problem still occurs.
I attach a link to short clips I made with my phone to illustrate what's going on and screenshot of my interface monitor program's setting.

If anybody knows what's going on or has a suggestion - please, help!
I don't know what to do and where should I start dealing with it. Thought of buying a different interface.
Greetings
Dave
Problem with preamp to saturate mixbus
Re: Problem with preamp to saturate mixbus
Hi Dave
It's not exactly about 3d party midi controllers, but I think your issue is that you are using the preamp mic input, and not the line input.
There's a switch in front of the device : if it's a microphone choose mic, if it's the output of an audio interface choose line, if it's a guitar choose the DI input.
