Hello --
I am using a Xone K2 controller.
I have mapped one of the rotary encoders (endless spin) to the Auto filter frequency knob in Ableton. I would like to use this encoder to scroll b/t 26Hz and 19kHz faster, so I would like to reduce the resolution of the MIDI data sent from the controller to the Ableton effect. Is there any way to scale this? For instance, if I map this, it takes too long to scroll from the lowest freq to the highest.
Change MIDI resolution
Re: Change MIDI resolution
To be honest... I donot think this is possible in Ableton.
Doesn`t your controller offer a preferences tool, where you can adjust the knobs behavier? - Or you use an extern tool like "Bomes Midi Translater" where you can program how incoming messages will be send out. Maybe you also can find a solution in Max for Live, if you want go this direction. Not shure about this...

Re: Change MIDI resolution
Heya did you ever figure out how to speed up the scrolling speed for the K2 in Ableton??
