Help Looper vith MIDI

11.2.7 here.
I have successfully mapped Meloaudio MIDI Commander with Ableton Looper in a track.
However I am allowed to map the reverse button only once and MIDI Commander sends only CC 127.
In the mapping Min is 0 and Max is 127.
How can I toggle Reverse on/off?

Are there ways to change what commands the midi commander sends out?

You either want to change the behavior of that switch so it isn’t momentary, or you want to map it to a midi note instead of midi cc.

From what I’ve seen, Looper’s functions usually act most predictably when mapped to midi notes instead of cc’s. Or even QWERTY keys.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into it. So far what I know about MIDI Commander is that it sends out CC or PC not notes.
But I can try to simulate the behavior via QWERTY then see if can mimic notes from CC/PC via translation.
