Thats not funny at all... I wonder if this really sounds like a talkbackcompressor...( or leveler)...they often work by bringing low levels up to a certain degree...so the sound gets clean when the level gets high instead distorting on the treshold...Angstrom wrote:pretty funny that it is a 'talkback' plugin though!

The reverse talkback is NOT how they got the "In the Air Tonight" drum sound.
That may have been the first step, but there is a LOT of Gating going on.
In fact, that was the first major record that used Gate on drums to acheive that effect.
