What if instead you chose not to force that into the leftover hours of your shit existence in your suburban basement and actually quit your shitty job to do what makes you happy?

Cost of living? Unfortunately living in Silicon Valley my whole life has given me the view that any place worth living is almost equally expensive and more affordable areas are populated mostly by hardcore conservative meth addict serial killers.

As an NYC native (and resident) this is a tough one to swallow. People DO make it here - I know a few professional musicians... but FEW are exclusively electronic. Many singers and classical/jazz people. I applaud them readily. Even Matmos (both??) work as teachers. I know the younger guy does because he talks about funny moments in teaching at their shows.
