Quick Question

I'm still very new to Ableton Live and I'm trying to use it to tune my 12 string guitar. I've searched around a bit and haven't had any luck. So can anyone please help me here?

there's no native plugin tuner in Ableton yet, but there's some freeware options out there. Are you on Mac or PC?

I'm on Mac, and I found that using TuneIt! in standalone mode was a pretty easy solution. I guess you could also load it as a plugin, but I haven't done that yet. Seems to work pretty well for my purposes, and they have PC plugin versions as well. It's free, so hopefully it works, but if not, nothing lost?

You have to attach the 12-string guitar to the USB port...
(there are some other steps, but I keep forgetting them...
