Live 9.2 wish list (I know this soon?)
Re: Live 9.2 wish list (I know this soon?)
Addition to some of the other stuff I posted here a while back:
-Theory analysis for midi clips (select a group of notes or harmony and Live tells you the possible scale or chord that it is)
-the Velocity editor at the bottom of midi clip should also be able to set automations for other parameters like effect settings, enveloped, etc. (different from the envelope box editor thing because it will change it for each note individually instead of note regions like it does now.)
-make the Follow playback function run smoother, right now it looks like the screen vibrates to the left and can get a bit nauseating to look at for more than a few seconds, this might just be my problem though..
-ability to change color of each note in a midi clip, would help to keep things organized.

Yes for setting minimum, but why doesn't the macro just pick up the parameter value by default instead of zeroing it.LFO8 wrote:Funk N. Furter wrote:If I had £1 for the number of times I've suggested this to Ableton.rtcardinal wrote:
3. Improved macro/midi mapping: I'd love it so that when you assigned a macro to a parameter, live used the EXISTING parameter value as it's minimum. That way you won't destroy patches simply by assigning parameters to knobs. It can be troublesome and sometimes inaccurate to manually change all the minimum values back to their old existing values.
This is allready a reality. Just add -AutoAdjustMacroMappingRange to the Options.txt
I can't see any reason why I would want to use the minimum option always as default. I can map the minimum and maximum values easy enough in the map editor when I need to.

Did anyone mention multi fx drag/drop? I was thinking about this just today how handy that would be
Re: Live 9.2 wish list (I know this soon?)
1. GROOVE QUANTIZE : quantise only the note start and the end only optional.
2. FULL PDC
3. BROWSER : browse to any location, without importing folders, like live 8 browser.

Correct PDC support
VST3
EUCON support
Preview groove files in the User Library
More than 8 macro knobs in a rack. 16 would be nice.

Snap envelope points to grid and center line.
Thats all.

Re: Live 9.2 wish list (I know this soon?)
A bank of envelopes that can be loaded into highlighted selections of clips to streamline automation, similar to Massive's "Load Curve" feature found in its Performer envelope. Custom-made user preset envelopes should be able to be saved. I think this already exists in Logic.
Grouping Return tracks so that they don't stack up and cover up my audio/midi tracks would also be pretty cool.
My dream is to see a new .adg for modulating instruments and effects. Seamlessly crossfading from a big dirty synth into a dramatic string section with the drag of a fader would be just amazing. Or it could be used as modular multi-fx rack, like NI's Molekular.
