Hello, I am new to max and m4l.
I frequently send many midi tracks to the IAC bus. (they trigger videos in Resolume)
I then meet up with a VJ and change the output of all these midi tracks to the Network session port. (to trigger videos on the vjs computer)
These midi tracks are not right next to each other, they are spread all over a gigantic Ableton session, bundled in little groups.
I am wondering if there is a patch that exists, or if someone can send me in the right direction, to change all the midi tracks destinations that match "IAC" to "Network session" all at once.
If not that, maybe theres a way to just change every midi destination in the session and then I can manually change the tracks that go to my hardware synths back to where they are supposed to go.
Thanks alot.

Re: Change multiple midi outputs at once?
Are they transmitting on different channels? If they're all on the same channel, then you simply transmit them to an intermediary channel first - then you only need to flip a single setting, not a bazillion.

The iac tracks and network tracks are all channel 1!

Re: Change multiple midi outputs at once?
well then I think the solution should be rather easy:
Instead of routing to IAC or whatever, send all these tracks to a new empty midi track, set to monitor on and inputs turned off.
And then switch the output as needed.
