i dig MOBY alot!!! i saw him spin in BALTIMORE back in the late 90's, when he was just starting to get famous....i was seriously straight edge back then, so i appreciated his outspokenness about his own straight edge lifestyle....i know he got a lot of flack for that, but i thought it was pretty ballsy considering his scene.
also PLAY is a sick album!!!!!
be careful though :D
i guess, if you know who these guys are, it means you are most likely 30+...by commenting, you might be commenting on your own relevance. :D snoochie boochies!!!

Relevant to who?
Da kids?????
In other words, is their DJ style and music still relevent to the scene today? To me, shit appears to be so fragmented and all over the place in terms of what's what. All I keep hearing about is dubstep.

Haven't heard anything of Oakey for some time...

Some of Moby's stuff is pretty much timeless IMO.

Born in '77.

Reading an article in wired about moby and another about Live led me to an interest in making electronic mosaic. Since the I've never looked back. Because my ass keeps getting bigger and bigger, you see. Don't want to glimpse it.

but yes moby is relevant. [edit] ha ha my phone said mosaic

I've heard rumors that Gwen Stefani once worked with Moby on a track or two from one of his albums, and he apparently grew quite fond of her farts, stating that "they smelled odiferously fragrant, quite like wisps of honeydew melons, lingering in the morning air". I'm guessing Gavin Rossdale is huffin 'em all up these days.
