Next bugfix beta is online: Live 8.1.1b4!

we just released another beta version of an upcoming bugfix update, Live 8.1.1b4

Changes from Live 8.1.1b3 to Live 8.1.1b4


Bugfixes

The context menu of a frozen clip would have enabled audio fades commands. [6253]

In the Arranger, changing the mixer properties like volume, panorama etc. would not show the changed value in the status bar. [3238]

Having a multi selection of Arranger track and use the 'Show Automation' command would destroy the selection. [6243]

Choosing a custom VST directory within the preferences would not keep this new directory until the next start of Live if the required rescan leads to a crash. [6190]

On Mac OS X, duplicating a track with Fab Filter Twin 1+2 could crash Live. [6063]

The Looper display would use the wrong colour in 'play” mode'. [6234]

Under certain conditions, the previous beta could not be unlocked properly.

it still happen here....just switch on oscillator phase sync and try duplicating...boom , instant crash....

Man ... i have a similar trouble with Live 8.1 ... but with the beta 1.1.4b,i hope will fixed the crush problem !!! Let me know,if you try the beta ... i put the 1.1.4b last night on Macbook ... and i will send a feedback in next days !

I put this version @ my macbook and he's work fine,i tested and dont crush ... I hope will be fine today and tomorrow ... because i will mixing live ...

This beta version 8.1.1b4 expire @ 30 december,after that...what will i do?

I'm setting a loop and calling it on, but regularly the transport plays straight through the loop markers even when the gui shows in both max and live that loop is on....

My patch is now huge so wheres best to send it rather than post it?

Why all the discussion about a new beta is carried out in the "Max For Live Beta Discussion"- thread?

• Is Live 8 now redefined as Max?

• Do I need the recent updates as a non Max owner?

Oh damn. I wish there will be another beta before this one expires. We have a show on the first of January, and files saved with newer betas cannot be opened with 8.1. I only wish there will be a new beta before next year. Please!
