How do you rate the sound of Audacity sound editor?

Free aps are always fun to try, and for those on a budget, definately a good way to go.

From what I've heard, I think it sounds pretty good, but everything is up to the final user.
And, now they've added VST effect support (no automation however, from what I can see).

I have been using it. I just wanted to know how other users rate the sound. I got a lite copy of Bias Peak and was contemplating learning it.
I do think Audacity is extremely easy to use. Im about to load up the same sample in both to see which sounds better. I'll let you know the results in a bit.

Karate, skip peak and check out DSP Quattro.
its far less expensive, and far less buggy as well.

I thought maybe I had to update to the newest version of Peak, because it crashed on me two times the last five times I used it. Let me check out DSP.
