"Ableton Live 7 Power" book says:
"Insert silence (Ctrl (Cmd) + I) will insert an amount of silence where you click-drag an area."
On a Mac, I am assuming this either means I am pressing control, which is also known as "command", or that the key with the apple icon on it is the "command" key. Tried both, no results. I also tried selecting an area (i.e. 2 bars) before doing this, and that did not work either.
How do you click-drag anything while pressing these keys along with the "I" key?
