yes, maybe the factory presets are lacking in bass.

check out the music i make with zebra2, it's pretty bass heavy in my opinion. mostly all the sounds are zebra, drones, fx, and of course the bass. but i admit to making the bass presets myself

Nice is a very subjective adjective!

In all cases, you can't really go wrong, and i must admit that the motu served me well.

Both companies make very reliable, quality products!

i just got rid of a motu 896 and got a FF800.

no doubt about it: RME is better quality.

latency is not an issue, firewire is more than sufficient for professional recording applications.

Does anyone know how to route microtonic's midi out into a Live midi track? I'd like to be able to perform a sequence of patterns in the microtonic, recording the midi output to a midi trak in Live. Zebra has replaced my 'dinosaur' Logic Pro synths, and my 'dinosaur' reaktor 5 (due to no UB version).
