i've googled this a bit, and found some sutff but nothing REALLY good.


what are your tips for tuning a drum kit? any web pages that guide you through the process? do you have a preferred tuning system for the kit (i.e. separate drums by a 4th)?

thanks dude. and yes, its sometimes hard to make dynamic tube to make any discernible difference in the audio unless you drive it to the max. which means either my hearing is not sophisticated enough, or the plug-in could use some curving of its parameters

but in all seriousness. overdrive and staurator are kind of easy to grasp (except for the advanced waveshaper options in sat) but i have no idea how dynamic tube works.

is there a way to work with OMF files in live? the more i work with logic, performer, etc, the more i hate them. i want to only use live for scoring, composing everything, but OMF is a big part of the post process.

any ideas?

hey gang i have a novation 25sl, and while i want to keep on using the basics of automap (just map the faders to the mixer) i dont want the annoying AUTOMAP SERVER app to launch every time i open live (Macbook pro here, on leopard). can i delete this app? do you guys even use this server deal? i hav...

one thing i would add: some sort of control+click (or whatever) on each node would scroll through modes (lo-pass, notch, shelves, etc)

that would make it seamless

what is this "live 8" people keep talking about?

am i crazy or did mr. henke state recently that there's a shortcut for transposing the notes in a midi clip. like shift + up arrow or something?
not working for me in live 7, and the whole "press arrows 12 times" deal is just silly
