Re: Direct audio in Sampler or Simpler
Sorry if the question seems stupid but since you mentioned your're new to ableton..
Did you try routing the guitar into an audio track and using audio effects on that?
At least some of the effects you want you can get this way.

Re: Delete clips with Akai APC 40
Afaik you can't do that with the default settings.
But you could do that by mapping a button on the APC to the delete-key via Bome's Midi Translator.

ahh nice, good idea..Rinsemeister wrote:Try using a "utility" plug on the group master.
You can adjust the gain and still retain relative automation.
Z.
but wouldn't it be better to do the automation with the utility so you can use the track volumes when mixing the track?

Aight, thanx...MrH wrote:This is with the clip loop. Not looper.
The loop will always be in sync as I have the track warped and I set the global quantize to 1 bar.

I guess it's ok to thank you, since you're not responsible for the contents, right?

Re: APC40 DJ setup question for Loop Braces
Do you use the clip loop or the looper device?
I'm still on 7 so i don't know how the looper works but how do you make sure the loop length
is set right so that it loops in sync when triggering it manually?

Re: Monomulator and Ableton
I'm also having trouble setting up the APC like it's showed in the video.
Does anybody know if this works with live 8 only?
Because in this case that would be the problem here since I'm on Live 7...
