I worked for a cleaning company....until I quit 1 and a half days later, lol....

my mpk49 shows up as usb audio device 0, 0 [1] and 0 [2], iirc. my uc33 shows up as usb audio device 2 and 2 [2], I think....it's confusing as hell, I wish I knew a way to give names to those ports... Do you have any idea what the third mpk49 output port is for? I haven't found out how to send throu...

I know, but that would mean I'd lose some custom programmed presets...

I have it fixed now, though, I read the controller assignments from reasons midi map file and translated the hex numbers into decimal with a chart...

I already have them at the most velocity-sensitive setting and most direct response velocity curve (i.e. linear)... I'll need to experiment a bit more cause I'm still not sure if it's just me and the way I try to hit those pads (as if I were finger drumming on a surface, doing rolls and stuff) or if...

I'm new to "drum" pads on controllers, but I find this to be very strange, considering it's way easier and reliable to play beats on the keyboard for me at the moment. I thought that was the whole point of pads like these....

that even at the highest sensitivity setting I have to hammer away in order for them to produce a sound? even then, it seems very irregular, it's not playable.

Is this just a matter of breaking them in, or is there something else that's wrong here?
