Julien Bayle (Marseille)

Julien Bayle lives and works in Marseille as a composer, sound designer, engineer and performer. Having built his own MIDI controller for live performances and releasing ambient, drone and dub techno under his own name as well as protofuse, Julien has been using Ableton Live since 2005. Julien founded his own company, Design the Media, where he offers Ableton Live training in one-on-one sessions, or in groups up to 10 people. The classes range from the basics of Ableton Live to advanced customized courses. One of Julien's specialties is Max for Live; he offers an introduction into the world of Max/MSP. In addition to the Max for Live introduction, there are courses on offer for advanced users. Julien conducts workshops and demos covering Max for Live in conjunction with hardware and open-source frameworks like Arduino. Courses are available in Marseille, online, or on location by request.
