Eve Klein (a.k.a Textile Audio) is an opera singer and electronica artist who has been using Ableton Live to create experimental classical music, interactive performance art, and glitch electronica since 2004.

Eve’s works regularly feature at festivals in Australia and abroad. Textile Audio’s recordings have been released on Wood & Wire, New Weird Australia, and Feral Media. Eve likes to build things and is currently collaborating on a series of performance works focused on integrating Live with sound sculptures, wearable controllers and custom electronic triggers.

Eve has over twelve years experience teaching at Australian universities, and is considered a specialist in music technology curriculum development and online education. Eve has a PhD in Music and Sound from Queensland University of Technology and is currently Convenor of Music at the University of New England, where she teaches beginner and advanced courses in Live, and specialist workshops in electronic music production, performance, songwriting, and classical composition in Live. Eve has run Live courses at universities and colleges around Australia, including designing Australia’s first undergraduate course in DJing and live sound mixing, which has been running at Macquarie University for the last decade, using Live as the core performance platform.
