Classically trained in London and New York as a jazz saxophonist, Max toured internationally with various jazz and world music acts before turning his focus on electronic music. His current live set merges electronic with acoustic sounds, showcasing his skills as a multi-instrumentalist and producer to create a fusion of styles that reflect his multicultural upbringing.

As an educator, Max taught music production at Dubspot, and ear training and music theory at Manhattan School of Music, before founding 343 Labs in 2018. At 343 Labs Max designed most of the curriculum and releases regular tutorials on the 343 Labs YouTube channel. He also curates weekly educational events and performance opportunities for the electronic music community in NYC and Berlin, as well as leading the NYC Ableton User Group.
