As an instructor for Berklee Online, the award-winning online school of Berklee College of Music, Loudon teaches Producing Music with Ableton Live, geared at getting new users up and running with the program. In 2008, he created Advanced Music Production with Ableton Live, which features  live performance techniques, unique compositional processes, and sound design using the entire Live Suite.  He also developed the foundation course Composing and Producing Electronic Music and the advanced Composing and Producing Electronic Music 2: Techno, Trip Hop, and Dubstep course, covering  many aspects of contemporary electronic music , including beats, harmony, bass lines, melodies, synthesis, audio/MIDI editing, effects processing, sound design, performance, mixing and more .

Loudon's ever-evolving blog and YouTube channel serve as extensions to the class and feature video and downloadable projects that highlight new features, allowing the course to grow with Live's updates.

Studying with Loudon includes more than learning the program; every technical lesson is paired with a musical topic, giving an immediate application for the techniques and encouraging the student to grow as a musician. As a schooled musician with admittedly left-of-center tastes, he has something to offer all students; remix artists, electronic musicians, DJs, instrumentalists, composers, and sound artists learn from each other in his lively media-rich classes.
