343 Labs is NYC’s fastest growing music production and performance community, offering free weekly masterclasses, networking events, performance opportunities and a broad range of music production courses. With some of NYC’s most accomplished producers on its teaching roster, of whom four are Ableton Certified Trainers, students can expect an exceptional educational experience, both in NYC and online.
- New York City NY United States
343 Labs was founded by Ableton Certified Trainer Max Wild and DJ Nacho Isa, with the idea of creating a community for producers, musicians and artists to meet, share ideas and learn from each other, guided and supported by expert instructors, four of whom are Ableton Certified Trainers. At 343 Labs we like to think of our community as a music accelerator, a place where electronic musicians can find structure and guidance beyond the classroom, access an industry-specific network and faster achieve their goals. For this we provide free weekly events such as masterclasses, artist showcases, feedback sessions, the Ableton User Group meetup and performance opportunities. Check out our Events page for more info.
Even after graduating, our students get lifetime access to our network of education and industry partners and the many opportunities they offer, including label releases of their own tracks, performances in NYC nightclubs and ongoing mentorship from instructors and alums. We hope that you will be able to join us on your journey in becoming the best musician you can, and look forward to having you join the 343 Labs family. Teaching Philosophy & Curriculum
Our curriculum is the result of our expert instructors collectively teaching thousands of students how to make music to their fullest potential. When designing the courses, it was our goal to provide a solid foundation to learn music production and performance in a structured way; however we also wanted to have the flexibility to adapt our curriculum according to each student’s specific needs, experience and interests. Our class sizes are kept small to ensure an intimate learning environment and allow our instructors to focus on the individual needs of our students.
We like to think of our online classes as “virtual classes”, since they are taught in real-time using video conferencing technology, and led by the same great instructors that teach at our New York location. This means classes can be taken from the comfort of your home, but are fully interactive; you can ask questions just like you would in an in-person class, and you will get feedback from your instructor right there on the spot. In addition, all classes are recorded, so if you want to go back to review a concept, or if you missed a class, you can. We make our online experience as interactive as possible, with numerous online platforms available for students to engage with fellow students and teachers throughout the week.
