Leonardo Rojas, aka PHO, has worked in the music industry for over 17 years. He’s an Ableton Certified Trainer, DJ and music producer based in Bogotá, Colombia and has used Ableton Live since 2008. His eclectic style of blending musical styles has led to him producing in genres like soul, funk, hip hop and house.

Leonardo Rojas, aka PHO, is a DJ and music producer from Bogotá, Colombia currently based in Dubai, UAE. He’s been working in the music industry for over 17 years. In 2008 he discovered Live, and started working with Push 2 and Max for Live in 2016. He has collaborated with artists and producers from around the globe, producing and creating albums and remixes in genres like soul, hip hop, trap and house.
As a DJ, Leonardo is rooted in scratch and turntablism techniques. He was a Red Bull Thre3style finalist two years in a row in 2011 and 2012, which led to global recognition and involvement in the iScratch Tokyo project in 2015, where the world’s top 40 turntablists got together for the biggest scratch session ever.
Since 2014, Leonardo has been working as an instructor in different academies around the globe, teaching subjects such as DJ techniques and electronic live performance to large groups and individuals. In his personal courses he covers topics like Basic and Advanced Music Production with Ableton Live, Basic and Advanced Techniques with Push 2, DJing with Ableton Live and Max for Live for Beginners.
Since 2016 Leonardo became a product specialist for the world-famous Japanese brand Pioneer, and has helped with the design of new products since then.
Nowadays, he shares his knowledge of music production and DJ techniques at the Turntable DJ Academy in Dubai. He also remains involved in a range of disruptive art projects.
