Jelie is a rapper, producer, and engineer with a BS in Recording Arts and a minor in Music Business from the University of Colorado Denver. Centered in hip‑hop and contemporary electronic styles, Jelie bridges musicality and technology to help artists move from rough ideas to polished, release‑ready tracks.

Fluent in Ableton Live, FL Studio, Pro Tools, Reason, and MPC workflows, Jelie has used Live extensively both in the studio and on stage, developing efficient systems for beat‑making, arrangement, vocal production, and live performance setups. As a sound designer, Jelie has created presets, samples, and patches for platforms such as Splice, BandLab, and Reason Studios, giving producers ready‑to‑use sounds that still leave room for personal expression.

Jelie’s performance history includes festivals such as SXSW, Treefort, and Denver’s Underground Music Showcase, bringing experience with backing tracks, hybrid sets, and artist‑ready live rigs. Drawing on this background, Jelie works with students on everything from building a first beat to designing full live performance sessions.

As an educator, Jelie has taught both youth and adults in community centers, high schools, and online spaces in one‑on‑one and group formats. Lessons focus on clear, goal‑driven outcomes: finishing songs, building custom templates, understanding core production concepts, and developing a personal sound. Jelie’s teaching style is hands‑on, patient, and practical, making complex ideas approachable for beginners while still challenging more advanced producers to refine their workflows and artistic vision.
