Gurpaal Bains

Gurpaal Bains is a producer, DJ, and audio engineer, and the founder of Little Street Studio, a music production school and producer-focussed recording studio centered on helping artists move from inspiration to finished records. His teaching is grounded in real-world music-making, with an emphasis on clarity, confidence, and a high standard of production quality within Ableton Live.

With years of experience as both an artist and educator, Gurpaal guides producers through all stages of the process, from foundational skills through to more advanced concepts in arrangement, sound design, mixing and mastering. His work centres on simplifying complex ideas into practical, repeatable processes that lead to high quality finished music. He is particularly passionate about helping students develop and refine their own artistry and musical identity.

At Little Street Studio, he leads courses, workshops, and 1:1 sessions. These programs support artists at all stages, from those starting out to more experienced producers refining their sound and workflow.

Alongside his teaching, Gurpaal is an active artist, releasing emotive and driving electronic music under his own name, GURPAAL. This ongoing practice informs his teaching, keeping it industry relevant and closely connected to modern production sensibilities.
