Emma is a passionate multi-hyphenate in the electronic music and audio technology space, composing and producing music to soundtrack dance floors, radio, galleries and film. With a strong focus on supporting and amplifying under-represented voices finding their way in the community, Emma shares knowledge, skills and experience from technical and creativity based perspectives.

Emma Louise Sainsbury has a rich and varied career which artistically spans live performance, music production, composition and sound design, and geographically spans four continents.
Under monikers such as Eluize and Alley O, she has released three albums and EPs on labels including Craigie Knowes and Unknown to the Unknown, toured extensively, playing at festivals and clubs globally, and collaborated with visual and sonic artists on music, events and via her label Night Tide (est. 2016).
Over two decades, she has combined her dual passions for artistry and technology into a versatile teaching practice, encompassing higher education, personalised mentoring, and live demonstration. Emma first took to Ableton Live in 2007, and has since incorporated in all facets of her audio work. She has a special interest in hardware integration, live performance translation and creative workflow, and is committed to helping shape diverse artistic communities, championing others’ craft while always practicing her own.
