Classically-trained as a pianist, flautist and composer, Claire slipped headfirst into the abyss of electronic music in college. She emerged from its depths as a DJ, remixer and live performance designer for numerous award-winning artists, including two-time Grammy nominees Alphabet Rockers, acclaimed keyboardist Rachel Z, My Brightest Diamond and Nona Hendryx of Labelle.

As dolltr!ck, Claire presents dynamic live sets of originals, remixes, and rearranged covers that meld electronica, pop and dance music. Her content has been featured by a slew of music brands, including Splice, Genelec, iZotope, Vochlea, Serato and Aodyo Instruments. She has played and presented at events by TEDx, Toyota, the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM), the Audio Engineering Society (AES), iHeartRadio, KCON, and IMSTA FESTA, and has performed at international venues like Staples Center, Jacob Javits Center, Berklee Performance Center, Agganis Arena, Esplanade: Theatres by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands, and more.

In music education and arts activism, Claire has received support from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and Queens Council on the Arts, and has collaborated with Beats By Girlz, Girls Rock Campaign, and the Queens Public Library network. She develops curriculum for various ages and experience levels, having consulted for the International Center of Photography, Coursera, the Berklee network, Singapore's Ministry of Education, and more.

Students can learn with Claire through in-person private lessons, small group workshops and large-scale clinics. Remotely, she teaches via video conferencing and offers a selection of online courses as listed on www.clairemarielim.com/learning

As an active live experience designer, playback technician, audio consultant, and sound designer, Claire shares her knowledge as a faculty member at Berklee College of Music and the City University of New York. She also independently runs the doll troop, a mentorship experience where K-12 girls can shadow her in electronic songwriting sessions and live shows, with signups on a rolling basis at www.dolltrick.com/dolltroop.
