Is there some limitation placed on the demo version of "live" that restricts in from seeing AIFF files on my Mac? The program displays the WAV files on my computer, but none of my own soundfiles.
Any thoughts?
best,

AIFF files
reading AIFF
... there are some problems with AIFF files which have to do with the fact that lots of applications fail to write correct informations in the AIFF header. currently Live is not as tolerant regarding these things as it could ( and will ) be. Which application did you use to create the AIFFs ? Also make sure they are not locked in the finder ( apple-I show this info ).
For now you could use e.g .Soundhack for converting AIFFs into WAV which will allow you to use them in live.
