Hey guys, I'm in desperate help. I tried to reset my AKAI MPK49 and accidentally deleted the firmware on the actual unit. I've been scouring the net high and low looking for a firmware but it is no longer available on AKAI's website or on Vyzex, the software companion to AKAI, for the download. So my hope is that if anyone has it they could possibly send it to me and I will be eternally grateful

The reason they don't have the firmware posted for download anymore is the same reason you need it so badly.. People were bricking their units as the MPK49 allowed firmware to be erased without checking for any 'repalcement' or upgraded firmware versions.If your MPK is displaying an error message that refers to the firmware, please contact Akai Professional to work with a tech support specialist to help you get back up and running. Hi I am still looking for this as well. I spoke with Customer support at Akai and they said that they will get back to me.
