This might have been requested before.
I recall that in Cubase there were ghost clips (I dont remember the exact name).
You can create a ghost copy of a clip. Then you can duplicate the ghost for lets say 50 times. Then when you change something in the original clip, all ghost clips are also changed.
So if you have lets say a hihat pattern clip duplicated in the project for tens of times, then lets say that you modify velocities of hihats in the original clip, all of the ghost clips will be updated too.
In FL studio you can do this with patterns.

This would be fantastic. It has been suggested before, but good suggestions can't be repeated too many times.
