ill.gates DJ template APC40

Anyone else having issued getting this templates to work on a PC?? I have followed his instructions completely and get absolutely no communication with my APC when I choose "APC_GATES_WILL_MARSHALL" as my Control Surface in preferences. Any help will be appreciated!

have you watched the video? You have to change the input & outputs in the preferences.

I have not bought this yet, but seriously considering it. Looks quality!

50$/£30 is a hefty price for a template though

Yeah, it is steep but after watching what he does with it I may have to get this one.
I am going to play with my own mappings first as I just got my APC40 today but this seems like a very well thought out and usable template.
Artofresh, let me know what you think of it after using it for a bit

I have been watching the video over and over and I think I have to get the template.

I'm having a bit of trouble with it on a Mac. Mainly that it crashes when I try to use the effects

Obv just came out, so hopefully all the kinks are worked out soon!

I am curious if it is possible to use this template via The Bridge? I mix in Serato, but produce in Ableton. I was on the fence about picking up the template after watching the videos, thinking it might be fun just to do some live edits in Ableton, and bounce them down to add to my crates. But, if I can use it while DJing, then this is a must have!

Either way, nice work Mr.Gates. I am a fan of everything you do.

Finally bit the bullet and bought the entire collection of templates!

I am super impressed by the quality but unfortunately my lappy cannot run the APC40 template for any extended period of time without CPU usage blowing up on me, even with my buffer as high as it will go.

Anybody have any tips for me or am I out of luck until I get a new machine?

And again, fantastic job with the templates and such Mr. Gates!!! I am thoroughly enjoying your e-book as well
