Stopping Clips Via Midi

This sounds very very trivial but for some reason I cant seem to get it to work.. I\'m trying to assign a Midi Key to stop a clip. I can start it fine, it loops over and over. But what about stopping the loop? When i click on the stop button in Midi map mode and pressa key, nothing happens. I can move a knob and a number will show up but that doesnt stop the clip after it is playing. I even tried simply assigning a key but that didnt work :( How am I supposed to play one off samples with out looping them then?

You have to set the sample trigger mode to toggle or gate (find this in the clip edit view). Check the manual for where it talks about the clip editor.
