oh and I almost hate racks: navigating inside racks is a pain, it's sooo easy to edit the wrong rack, and what a pain (especially visually) to have 3 impulses in a rack just because you need some phaser on hihat (and be able of saving, so not routing to differents audio tracks). Racks are powerfull,...

I would certainly feel betrayed in a way, but now I tend to think a bit differently. I simply pay the price I estimate "right". We all could use "cracked" software, so for me paying is not buying something, but giving some fair amount of money to respect the coders/developpers wo...

Simple stupid point: -Fruity producer XL thing: a bad sequencer (not bad, but really counter intuitive for me), an excellent fm synth, a pretty good sampler, a decent and well integrated slicer, some other cool stuff. 360$... compared to Live, you get the plug ins for free, and you can even use sytr...

well when you buy pc hardware, 6 months later, it costs half the price... so I don't care if a product I buy will lower its price, I just consider how much I need it, and if I can afford the cuurent price. simple equation.

hhhm, for recording automation in session, currently, why not have a simple setup like that: main record button is on, record absolute automation in Arr. main record button is off but recording button of the clip in session is on, with overdub on, simply record relative automation in session clip. f...

The copy protection doesn't impact illegal users at all. I agree with that one, having eg a simple serial, then registering the software would be enough for me. I simply don't want to risk to be annoyed. Maybe Live would be cracked easily, whatever, it's cracked at every update, most of my students...

well it's not really the same capsule, the 57 is far more directive, but whatever, it's a great mic for guitars and "rock" vocals, also snares and some percussions. but if you need an "allround" tool, you ll have to go to static mics, as they are far more sensible (eg for recordi...

well for me the main lack of modularity is INSIDE racks: what should be a modular tool is just (almost) a linear signal path. well look at the tracktion rack eg. I m an energyXT user, I also like live, but i'm still wondering why we don't have such a tool in live. at least some drop down menus in ra...

you have to add end makers for each cue point. select a slice, put the bar in the right point with you mouse and add a end marker from he menu. with no slicea all, select a zone, then click on "make cue" or something like that (I don't have ths sampler right here) and both start and end po...

you could just make a rack with 8 impulses with each one only loaded with the hit you want...
editing samples and params on each impulse will be a bit more messy, but that's a workaround

I used 32 simplers, and honestly this is the coolest drum sampler I ever used.
excepting you don't have choke group nor one shot mode, and it can be very annoying.
