Re: Glide isn't working with the Drift synth
I haven't tried but maybe another option is to program a sustain pedal press for these parts? The problem is that any alternative involves the possibility of the envelope playing out for a long extended duration rather than the option to have short staccato notes that bend each time you trigger the...

Re: Glide isn't working with the Drift synth
I feel like Glide’s handling of this is unconventional in contrast to how most synths operate in this regard, and unfortunately it is a kind of boring choice on behalf of the dev to not take advantage of that particular quality. But I guess that is how it is. A workaround would probably require a wh...

Re: Storage Problem (Live 12 Suite)
USB can mostly be compatible with other usb if you have the correct adapters. The key word is mostly, but the chances of running into issues are pretty slim. In some rare cases a cable will be designed for charging only, or other small issues like that. For the most part, if you get an adapter you s...

Re: is it possible set the tempo in ableton live by external software mainstage
This is something I’m kind of curious about myself.
I know that Logic has Link which is about the most rock solid sync you can get. But I don’t know if they also gave MainStage Link, which would be very convenient.

Re: Preset changing
Option 1: create a fx rack. This is assuming you have at least Live Standard. You would either drag an empty fx rack into the audio channel and drag the plugin inside the fx rack, or you can just drag the plugin into the channel and then right click to view context menu of the device and select ‘Gro...

Re: Preset changing
Might have to run two instances for the smoothest transition. Either running parallel in a rack with chain select or using a Send Return setup.
Preset changing reverbs can be messy within the same device

Re: Ableton 12 performance on M3 Pro Max
Basically there have been a few threads on this. This should be a decent example:
viewtopic.php?t=248504
I didn’t re-read it, so I don’t remember the solution, but I think there is a way to have it work with multiple monitors with particular settings.

Re: Horrible audio export
Warping can really mess with the quality of audio clips if you’re not keeping in mind what it’s doing to the track.

Is it connected to an external monitor? There is a thread about problems and troubleshooting for that.

Re: Stereo 'Piano-like' panning with whole MIDI range, bass left, treble right
There are often tools in a lot of devices for this. Depends which device you use (also, processing after can affect the result) A common tool is Pan influenced by Key parameter. It might require offsetting, might not, when you increase or decrease it. Another option is if something has modulation ro...

Closest I can think of is if the clip is unwarped, the Start and End info of the clip. I might be wrong
Edit: never mind. I guess that is in seconds

Re: Beatstep (non pro) dynamic MIDI mapping
There are premade universal options out there.
Two which come to mind are:
-selectedtrackcontrol
-midi remote script
It’s at least worth looking at these to understand what kinda works, and how to get it working

Re: So... Live on Linux?
If a Linux version is not identical in UI and functionality to the Win or Mac versions, it is not appropriate for release. People will not be satisfied. It’s not releasable as the ‘Push version on Linux’, that would be a joke.

Re: New user not understanding Ugritone drum plugins
It is probably roughly the same keyboard note layout as a General MIDI Drum Map (wiki it) As for making an arrangement, you need to first make a clip on that channel. Making a clip can depend on if you are in Arrangement View or Session View. Once a clip is made. Double click the clip to get into cl...

Re: Looking for a Drum-Kit
Keep in mind that it’s not just what you have access to but how you use it. Having a good kit to start with can definitely give you less problem solving to have to deal with. So it’s good that you are seeking that out. But even after you have it, getting something meaningful out of it can be the par...
