needing help with Sample editor

i'm looking for an easy way to move the loop-markers simultaneously with the start/end markers in the sample editor. i know the keyboard shortcuts for moving the loopmarkers (up/down arrow for the whole loop; left/right arrow for single steps) but with these shortcuts the the start/end markers will ...

Re: Assign 'permanent' controls on MIDI controller?

the only thing i know for question 2 is that you can use a custom user remote script and assign your midi knobs to predefined controls, but in that user scripts the pan knobs are NOT included. you'll find a template of this script in your ableton folder %\Resources\MIDI Remote Scripts\_Tools.

Re: What Firewire interface do you use?

i'm using a motu 828mk2 firewire interface, which is quite nice and the two preamps are sounding good. but you have to be carufull with the firewire ciphset on your mainboard. moutu says that the best performance will be with a texas instruments chipset. i have no porblems with the motu it works fin...

add new instruments and effects with a rigth click

the hot swap button is really handy for existing instruments in track view to change presets or devices.
it would be perfect, if it is possible to add new device by right clicking at the trackview and a contextmenu pops up with all abletons buildin devices and vst plugs.

thats cool. i didn't know that. i thought the 3GB memory limit of XP was an 32bit issue and i think server 2003 is although a 32bit System

Re: Win XP vs. Win Server 2003

Server 2003 makes a decent desktop, but im not sure it offers any advantages over Win 7, and theres problems with some driver support for some devices. Do you have any problems with it? is there any point to this thread? no. i havn't any problems with drivers. I'm using a motu 828 mkII (firewire), ...
