hit ctr-alt-f, it should show fades.
overlap desired clips on same track, adjust fades to taste.

Operator is amazing.
Such a small footprint, it is simple to start with yet can do very complicated sounds.
Does even drums!

Right clicking on send dials on the return tracks, lets you enable them, and send them to themselves or other return tracks.

I guess you could check the .py files yourself, but I m sure you would get faster responce from the faderfox guy. He is usually very responsive.

Launchpad with launchpad85/95 script
( http://motscousus.com/stuff/2011-07_Nov ... e_Scripts/ )
and this
http://www.faderfox.de/uc3.html
a bit pricier than nocturn, but much better quality and makes more sense (atleast to me )

I use this

with launchpad v1 and lp85.
killer bang for the buck combo.
Only thing missing is velocity sensitivity.

Re: Operator Vs Analog
All of the above is true, but I think Operator can wield great results by just mocking around. Like they said when they launched it, it truly is a "fun" synth to play with.

Re: Who is actually happy with the direction Ableton is going?
I purchased Live 9, and I am extremely happy with the product. To put it simply, what sold it for me was the following: -Ableton finally implemented spectogram on the EQ Eight, so now I don't have to rely on VSTs to do proper EQing. And oh did I mention full screen EQ'ing ? -the new implemented Glu...

Re: Getting a decent live bass guitar thru Ableton?
Firestudio's inputs 1 or 2 or both (check manual) should be designed to take instruments directly. Do not crank the preamps too much, you dont have to push it as loud as you can at this stage. I usually aim for -10-12 db with bass guitar. Now, there is no way this volume will stand a chance against ...

Re: Live 9 Pricing
Sorry guys, I have to whine somewhere too
Really-really ableton, 3 years, fixed automation, (no PDC fix) and upgrade eq and compression to competitors level and asking the same price some ask for full DAWS?
Another unhappy camper here for sure.
