it is not so easy to explain,
but I wan't to start a new scene on the fly while I'm modifying the the drum clip.
to copy a clip takes some extra steps....

Thanks for your answer, but unfortunately it always selects the next clip when launching a new scene, with both worklows, which is of course very helpful and clever, but it would be nice to be able to continue modifying the previous clip, in my case a drum loop, without changing to the session view ...
