I had the music playing to loud and was holing the mic right up to my mouth. I didn't realize how much sound was coming out of my headphones.
Turned down the master volume, let the mike hang down and spoke up a bit, problem solved.

The manual where i'm looking says no but I thought I'd ask the community as there are several of these samples i'd like to use but not in their entirety. I would have to shorten th...

audio effects
Hi all, I took a long break from using live 9. I've been slowly getting back into composing and now have a song I want to start adding audio effects to. When I click on audio effects I only have 4 selections. Audio effect rack, eq 8, reverb and glue compressor. I remeber there being a lot more than ...

Re: Clicky Sounds
I hope I got that information correct.
I use a macbook, and have downloaded many samples which I have on my HD. I associate audio interface with a mixing board or toned down version of that to use an external uadio source or playing out to speakers etc. I do neither yet.
Thanks for replying.

Cpu is getting as high as 38% in that bit.

All audio coming from samples internal.

Clicky Sounds
I probably worded the last post badly. I have a section of a song with several tracks running at the same time, several samples and midi notes. When I play the song back I hear clicking sounds and brief cut outs. I have Listened to each track solo and this clicks do not occur. when I play 2 or more ...

Hi all, I'm working on a tune that for 2 bars has 16th note vocal samples in clips running. There are two different traks to double the amount of vocal events occuring for the purpose of creating harmonies. Along with this there is a series of guitar sample clips, synth clips and 4 different drum tr...

Re: Lessening the cpu load
There may be something I am not aware of but "normally" it's the opposite where people have issues with external content causing the issues. As fishmonkey mentioned, he could be talking disk load issues but that really would need a shitload of samples to be streamed and this applies only ...

Re: Lessening the cpu load
Not sure if you have the info correct there. The CPU load will not be lessened by placing samples on an external drive since the samples need to be loaded into memory, processed through live and delivered to the sound card which all takes CPU cycles no matter where you put the content. Maybe I am s...
