Max for Live

Spectrum Effects v.2

de Amazing Noises

Spectrum Effects includes two radical spectral processing devices capable of a range of effects. Warp and mangle your audio into mayhem, or add subtle harmonic touches - you decide which. In the studio and at the gig, Spectrum Effects adds an instant dynamic catalyst to your Live set.

Grip

Grip is a device that grabs hold of spectral components from the incoming signal. It can create inharmonic resonances, artifacts, mechanical screeches, and drones. Feed it drums, vocals, pads or anything else and watch your sounds transmute into new forms.

Specially tailored to process a variety of sound sources, Grip brings out aspects of your audio that you never suspected were there. It comes with a collection of presets to get you started -  but the real fun begins when you start tweaking the controls.

Spectrum Runner

More than just a fancy modulator, Spectrum Runner gets into the guts of your audio. It performs real-time tasks that modify the phase and timing of the sound spectrum.

Spectrum Runner can be used as a spectral delay, “mangler”, and distortion effect. Thanks to its three “spectral LFOs”, it can sculpt the sound in very interesting and unpredictable ways.

It is not only a glitchy sound manipulator, though; it is also capable of deconstructing the input sound in a gentle cascade of evolving harmonics.
