After taking organ and piano lessons at the Conservatory in his teens, Fred Traverso went on to study sound and became a sound engineer for Radio France from 2005 to 2015.

After being in many neo-metal and industrial rock bands from the end of the 90s as keyboardist and programmer, he discovered Ableton Live 5 in 2005 and has since collaborated on various projects (including Kings Love Jacks, The Silent Ones and Auradrone) as a member, producer and mixer, and performed at major festivals such as Fusion and Exit. He also works regularly for advertising agencies as a sound designer and composer.

Since 2015, he has been teaching sound design and production in both the Multimedia MA and Musicology course at the University of Strasbourg. In 2018, he co-founded the Longevity Music School in Strasbourg, where, alongside a team of creative teachers such as Chapelier Fou and Christopher Kah, he leads training and workshops on Ableton Live and Push for all ages and levels.
