Live and Audio from Itunes

What is the process for dropping a song from Itunes into Live? I tried to drag and drop from the desktop and was denied. I tried opening through the library in Live and none of the files in Itunes will open. Any Ideas?

What format are the tracks?

If they're protected AAC then you won't be able to use them.

convert 'em to .wav or .aiff then drop 'em in Ableton... You may have to take the drag and drop the actual .wav or .aiff file rather than directl from iTunes, although I believe you can...

you can drag and drop from itunes, but as jonny said, they have to be DRM-free.
